A Class Act Dinner Theatre

Thank you for supporting the GS Mission Team and our upcoming trip to Guatemala.  We sold 90 tickets to "The Sensuous Senator" at a Class Act in Whitby last Sunday March 28.  We were able to raise $2250 through the sale of tickets, and an additional $510 through a 50/50 draw, which was donated back by the winner Bill Conard.  Thank You!

Thank you to Bonny Rahm for taking the lead on this fundraising activity, monitoring the ticket sales, creating the seating arrangement and keeping everyone up to date on the progress of the event.  Doug Watson, took lots of pictures for us and will be displaying them ahead of church on Sunday morning.  And thanks to Caitlin and Laura for selling the 50/50 tickets.  I would also like to thank Nancy Gleed from A Class Act for being so flexible and fun to work with - thank you for the oppertunity to host a fundraiser at your respectable venue!  Thank you to all who participated, helped and supported this event!

As a part of the GS Mission Team, we are holding a fundraiser at A Class Act in Whitby on March 28 at 6pm in an effort to raise money and awareness for our upcoming Mission to Guatemala with the charitable organization Loving Arms. We will be working primarily with the children of Guatemala in schools, health and dental clinics as well as offering shoe distribution to children so that they can stay in school. These are a few of the tasks that we will be organizing while in Guatemala. Please consider coming to join us for an exciting night out, a great dinner and a very comedic show. It is sure to be a good time! Tickets are $60, and for $5pp you can join us on a "party-bus" from Greenbank. Please let me know if you are interested in tickets.

Senator Douglas is running for President on a "morality" platform, but when his wife Lois leaves to attend a conference in Chicago he does not hesitate to invite over Veronica, his secretary and lover. But before too long others join the party, namely a voluptuous escort Fiona, an elderly colleague, and Congressman Jack Maguire. Before Lois reaches the airport, her fashionable Washington townhouse is swarming with libidinous politicians, scantily dressed women, security police and a muckraking reporter from The National Intruder! When snow closes the airport and she returns home, the bedlam crescendos to a surprise ending in this outrageous farce.
